All $BADGE tokens will be minted upon mainnet genesis (i.e. no inflation / deflation). $BADGE is to be used for both transaction fees and securing the network via staking. For betanet, all $BADGE is worthless, can be minted as needed from a faucet, and will be freely sent to users. For mainnet, all $BADGE will be airdropped to those who qualify upon genesis.
